The R&D Management Conference 2009 will be held in collaboration with the ISPIM Conference in the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Vienna. There will be separate selection processes, programs and proceedings for each conference. The registration fee will allow participation in both conferences.
The theme can be interpreted in three ways. Papers and presentations are invited on any of the following: the reality of R&D; the impact of R&D on innovation; how the reality of R&D is impacting innovation.
You can submit proposals for: research papers; academic perspectives; industry perspectives; discussion / workshop topics. Proposals should be submitted before 31 January. Full papers for selected abstracts are required by 30 April. Industry and academic perspectives can be based on presentation files with optional full papers (to be included in the proceedings these should also be uploaded before 30 April.)
Advanced Workshops in R&D Management
Advanced workshops are being organized to advance the state of the art and to strategically develop publications in the R&D Management journal.
A workshop on knowledge integration was recently organized in Linkoping, Sweden and will lead to the development of revised and new papers for a Special Issue.
A workshop is being organized in Madrid in February 2009 to develop R&D management research networks with Latin America. As well as papers about international co-operations with Latin America the outcomes will include the planning of a second workshop to be held in Latin America in June 2009, and a future conference on R&D management.
